Duenna is an empowering 8-week program for female, two-spirited, and non-binary youth (13–18) that blends skill-building, cultural connection, and supportive community. Through creative workshops, outings, shared meals, and guidance from trained facilitators and K’ómoks knowledge keepers, participants explore safety, identity, healthy relationships, communication, and self-confidence. Duenna provides a welcoming space for youth to connect with peers, access trusted adults, and strengthen resilience—helping them move forward feeling safer, more grounded, and more supported in their everyday lives.
