Food Skills for Families  

Session One Learning Outcomes • Experience that healthy cooking is easy and delicious  • Understand mindful eating • Know the four food groups • Be able to follow + modify a recipe • Demonstrate food safety    

Session Dates:  

April 21, 28

May 5, 12, 19, and 26.  

Time:  9:30-12:30.  

Childminding is provided.  

Requirements: The only requirement is the willingness to come to each of the 6 sessions and the program is free.  Looking for 12 participants that are wanting to learn to cook healthy meals on a budget.   The program is hands on and when the meal is prepared the participants come together in a family setting and try the wonderful food that was prepared.   Each participant will receive a recipe book to keep.   If you have someone that you think will benefit from this program; please email:  info@cvfsa.org with: Name, phone number, childminding requirements.
