United Way Central and Northern Vancouver Island (UWCNVI) has given a grant to the Comox Valley Family Services Association Toddler Time program for $9,500 for the 2016/2017 funding year. This is one of the biggest grant amounts they give out in the Comox Valley. The money helps support the program which supports parents (most of whom are single and living in poverty) through a group and home visitation program to overcome challenges of supporting the healthy development and learning of their toddlers.
