Danyel K-F

Danyel joined our agency in February 2019. Danyel has her Master of Arts, major in counselling psychology.

Danyel is a counsellor with our Sexual Abuse Intervention Program that takes community, self and community agency referrals. She has experience in youth residential settings, a transition house for women and children fleeing violence, and at a youth counselling agency on Vancouver Island. 

Additionally, in her work as a behavioural interventionist for young people on the autism spectrum, she learned multiple approaches to address and support the sensory, emotional, social, and learning challenges that these clients faced.

Danyel has developed and facilitated psycho-educational workshops and groups, delivered individual and family counselling services and provided leadership and supportive supervision in her former role as a Team Leader.

Danyel finds great joy in her work as a counsellor in helping others and adds balance to her life through yoga, writing and dance.
