Are you interested in giving back to your community and being part of the strategic direction and governance of a diverse family service agency?

Consider a role on our Board of Directors. Directors embody the values/mission of the society; ‘to build on individual and family strengths which support growth and healthy lifestyles’.  

Our board helps provide vision, establish community credibility, and network as effective advocates for our society when needed.

At this time, we are interested in recruiting board members with experience in Indigenous cultural agility and safety and/or experience with immigrating families. Previous Board or governance experience not necessary. The role of our board is to set strategic direction for the society, adopt and oversee the budget, address governance matters and oversee the Executive Director.

Meetings are normally held on a monthly basis at 4:00 pm on a weekday and last approximately 1 to 2 hours. Elected directors serve for a 2-year term, which may be renewed.
